BREAST cancer patients are being invited to a free information event.

People living with secondary breast cancer in and around Glasgow will hear about the latest treatments, the benefits of being active and enjoy a relaxation session.

The Living with Secondary Breast Cancer 'Overview' day has been organised by Breast Cancer Care.

Dr Iain MacPherson, clinical senior lecturer in medical oncology at the Beatson Institute will be among the speakers.

Angela Harris, of Breast Cancer Care, said: "People with breast cancer are at the heart of all that we do. We've designed the sessions based on what people with secondary breast cancer tell us they need and want, using expertise we've built up in this field."
