POLICE investigating a horror attack on a bouncer at a city karaoke bar have issued a fresh appeal for information.
The thug smashed the glass tumbler into the doorman's face as his friend was being thrown out of the city centre venue.
Police said the suspect - believed to be German - lashed out with the glass and hit the victim as he tried to escort them from Cosmopol for "unruly behaviour".
It happened at the karaoke bar, in Hope Street, around 1.45am last Saturday.
Police are now working with hotels in the area in a bid to trace the men.
Detectives slammed the attack as "violent and unnecessary" and vowed to find the men responsible.
Both suspects are described as being European, possibly German.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Glasgow City Centre CID on 101.
