THE remaining works of celebrated Glasgow-born sculptor George Wyllie are to be auctioned.
The collection of pieces, valued at £40,000, include a second version of the famous straw locomotive which hung from a crane at The Glasgow Garden Festival.
Straw Locomotive, George Wyllie's full scale rendition of a classic steam train, hung from Glasgow's Stobcross crane during the summer of 1987. Lyon & Turnbull will auction the works at The Lighthouse Gallery in Glasgow on Tuesday, August 27.
