THERE is still time to enter one of North Lanarkshire's biggest sporting events.
The Cumbernauld 10k takes place at 11am on Sunday, September 22 at Broadwood Stadium. The deadline for entries has been extended to September 18 and more than 670 runners took part last year.
Children can also take part in the 1k and 3k runs on the day, and families can enjoy a variety of activities at Broadwood, including a climbing wall, music and dance.
There will also be a guest appearance by Clyde, the Commonwealth Games 2014 mascot.
To register for the race, go to www.q-busters.co.uk, call 01236 437756 or find the application forms at www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/cumbernauld10k.
