SAMARITAN'S Purse charity has thanked Regus centres in Glasgow for their efforts in collecting thousands of gift-filled shoeboxes, which have been distributed to needy and vulnerable children across Europe and Africa.
The shoeboxes, put together by members of the public, local businesses, schools and churches, contained everything from sweets and toys to toothbrushes and colouring books. Regus, the global workplace provider, was involved in the appeal with the company's 220 UK centres collecting more than 5000 shoeboxes between them.
