A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl has been injured after being bitten by an American Bulldog.
The incident happened on Saturday morning in Greenock's Kilmacolm Road.
She was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital in the town but later discharged.
Police say a 45-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal following the incident.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "The dog has been seized by officers and owner is co-operating fully with police."
