A GLASGOW businesswoman is urging firms to boost their backing for charities.
Anne Ledgerwood, marketing director at the St Enoch shopping centre, says giving a helping hand is good for business.
The centre has a long record of backing charitable efforts and is helping to raise thousands for Glasgow-based Cancer Support Scotland this year.
As charities face a 20% drop in donations and one in six of them faces closure, Ms Ledgerwood said: "We feel it's important to give back to the community."
