A GLASGOW dentist has scooped a national award.
Mark Skimming, of Dentistry on the Square in the South Side, beat 34,000 competitors to take home the Best Young Dentist North award.
He was given the accolade by the Dentistry Magazine.
They gave him the top award because of his customer service, and his approach to providing pain-free dentistry.
Mark said: "Many businesses including dentists operate in office hours, which means patients have to take time off work, and who can afford to do that these days?
"So instead of office hours, Dentistry on the Square turned their opening hours on its head, and now operate early, late night and Saturday."
