A PASSENGER jet carrying almost 200 holidaymakers to Tenerife was hit by engine failure over the Atlantic.
The Jet2 flight from Glasgow to Tenerife was forced to put out a 7700 emergency squawk on Monday after one of its two engines failed.
The plane was able to land safely at the airport in Tenerife.
