GLASGOW students will benefit from plans to redevelop the south wing of the historic Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries.
Developers want to bring back a mothballed swimming pool and squash courts.
Dumfries and Galloway Council will also consider plans to create a new bistro and bar.
The Crichton Development Company, which is putting forward the proposals, believes the plans will benefit students who study at the Dumfries and Galloway College and University of Glasgow campuses nearby.
