YOUNG people from across Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire have been commended at a special awards ceremony.
A Positive Achievements project, held in Kirkintilloch, saw 22 people work towards qualifications.
The young people and their families were presented with their certificates by East Dunbartonshire Council leader Rhondda Geekie.
The 258 awards achieved during the project include first aid, health and safety, literacy, numeracy and food hygiene certificates.
Ms Geekie said: "The courses completed will stand the students in very good stead as they go into employment or pursue further study, I wish them all the very best in the future."
