TWO members of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters will showcase their basketball skills at a Glasgow shopping centre.

Tricksters Dizzy Grant and Handles Franklin will perform for shoppers at Silverburn tomorrow from noon.

They are in town to promote the team's appearance at The Hydro on April 16, 2014, as part of a UK Arena Tour.

The Globetrotters' family show features mesmerizing ball handling, an assortment of trick shots, high-flying dunks and precise timing - all with an array of comedy to entertain all ages.

They will teach fans how to perform tricks including 'ball spinning'.

Over the last 60 years the team has entertained more than 134 million fans in 120 countries.

And shoppers will be treated to a special mini performance.

David Pierotti, general manager of Silverburn, said: "We're really excited to have Dizzy and Handles in the mall - I've seen some of their performances online - they are incredible.

"It will be fun to have them in the mall for our shoppers who can take a break from shopping to enjoy their amazing tricks."

As well as the Globetrotters, Silverburn will have a range of entertainment on offer throughout December, including a free Santa, choirs, a giant Christmas tree, snowglobe and Santa's Helpers on hand to carry shopping bags or help out.

Tickets to see the Globetrotters at the Hydro are on sale now and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk
