THE longest running goalkeeping coaching academy in Scotland has celebrated its 20th birthday.
Shot Stoppers Goalkeeping Academy held a glitzy presentation at Glasgow Club Petershill to mark the milestone.
They handed out specially designed jerseys and goalkeeping accessories.
The academy has helped develop more than 90 goalkeepers for semi-professional and professional ranks, including ex-River City actor Sean Brean and current Cardiff City keeper David Marshall.
Current trainee Callum Kinvig won a silver medal at the International Children's Games in Australia at the end of 2014.
Staff hope the new year will continue to bring recognition to the Academy.
