RANGERS chief executive Charles Green said today he hopes to have three billionaire investors on board at the club within a matter of weeks.
The news came as it was announced Ibrox stars Maurice Edu and Alejandro Bedoya are on their way out of the club.
Mr Green insists he has held talks with three potential investors, including Sport Direct tycoon Mike Ashley.
It is understood he has been in talks with two other businessmen – from China and Britain.
However, Mr Green said it would be "too premature to name them".
He said: "If these plans work out, we will have three billionaires who will be shareholders at Rangers."
The deals are expected to be completed in the next few weeks.
