The Scottish Greens launched its manifesto "An economy for the people, a society for all" with three main themes.

Patrick Harvie, Glasgow MSP, revealed the pledges hoping it can send a first Scottish Green MP to Westminster

It committed to a £10 minimum wage for equality. Publicly owned railways and more powers devolved to local communities

Mr Harvie said: "Everyone is tired of the same old Westminster politics. Scotland is ready for change and people are eager to vote for ideas they can believe in. The Green membership surge means we're in a strong position to send principled voices to speak up for Scotland's communities."
