ALLOTMENT holders booted off their plots to make way for a housing development claim their new site is not fit for purpose.
Gardeners at Oatlands Leisure Gardens were told they would have to move from their Elmfoot Street plots to make way for a new Bett Homes development.
Glasgow City Council charged the developer with providing new allotments for green-fingered locals.
