POLICE are continuing investigations after the discovery of a cache of weapons at a farmhouse on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Guns, including two AK-47 rifles, were found near Bearsden in East Dunbartonshire on Thursday.
A "significant" arsenal of guns and ammunition was discovered at site, which until recently was a working dairy farm. More than 20 officers, including forensic teams, searched the building and nearby woodland in Killermont, Bearsden.
Packages wrapped in plastic were removed by Strathclyde Police following a call from a member of the public.
The items included shotguns and rifles, as well as ammunition, according to a man who lives at the property.
