Hangover's a hit at HMV for Starboy

R&B sensation Starboy Nathan was greeted by scores of fans as he hit Glasgow for a signing session.

Fresh from touring with top boybands JLS and The Wanted, the singer met fans and signed copies of his new single, The Hangover, at the city's HMV store in Buchanan Street.

Starboy Nathan celebrated the release of his new song, in which he collaborates with popular rapper Wretch 32, at the store yesterday.

The 24-year-old rising star will be back in Glasgow next month to attend the prestigious MOBO Awards.

Starboy Nathan, who is from London, said: "I'm loving the MOBOs, and I can't wait for the actual event. It's going to be mad!"

Of coming back to the city, he added: "I love it. I did a gig earlier this year at the SECC.

"It was a wicked show with me, Stryder, and The Wanted."

The musician first got into music when he was 18 and has worked with American superstar Flo Rida, as well as enjoying two Top 40 singles, Come Into My Room and Diamonds.

Starboy Nathan is due to release his new album, 3D – Determination, Dedication, Desire, later this year.

He said: "With the second album, there's been a lot of growth from my songwriting to my vocals

"I would describe my music as international R&B. I just wanted to do something that's unique to myself."
