Callous thugs stole materials from a new facility for sick children and their families.
Thieves stole £1300 worth of copper piping from Glasgow's new Ronald Macdonald house on Tuesday night.
They also caused around £3000 worth of damage during the incident, which happened around 10pm.
Police have now appealed to the public for help in tracing the heartless robbers.
A spokeswoman said: " Around 10pm on February 17 we received a report of a copper theft near Hardgate Road.
"Pipes to the value of around £1300 were reported as stolen and the removal of the damage was around £3000
"CCTV is being reviewed and anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101."
The facility forms part of the new South Glasgow Hospital, and is to be used to accommodate families of sick children receiving treatment,
