THE all-action Glasgow Roller Derby is hosting one of its spectacular Home Teams bouts on Saturday.
All four of Glasgow's Home Teams will take part on Saturday at the ARC Sportscentre, Cowcaddens Road.
The teams - Tyrannosaurus Wrecks, Hell's Belles, Bad Omens and Death Stars - promise to deliver a colourful collision of light sabers, skates and sizzling skills.
The teams include women who play for the Irn Bruisers and Glasgow Roller Derby's B-team, the Maiden Grrders, as well as the rest of the skaters who form the league.
Roller derby is a full-contact, predominantly female sport, played on roller skates on a flat oval track - combining full-throttle racing, tactics, offence, defence, endurance, tenacity and lightning-fast reflexes.
Organisers say it makes for a spectacular afternoon of fun and rivalry for all the family.
Entry costs from £5 on the door, or visit www.glasgowroller derby.com
