TWENTY giant horse sculptures are being used to try to rein shoppers back to Hamilton with the launch a mass art project.
Ready Steady Gallop is designed to bring more visitors to the South Lanarkshire town, with the public being urged to come up with names for each of the Clydesdale horses.
Organisers of the Hamilton Business Improvement District hope to boost custom at local shops and nightspots with a number of initiatives, including a marketing drive and crime reduction campaigns, such as taxi marshalls.
David Equi of local ice cream business Equi's said: "We would love some ideas from the public on potential names."
