The state of Lightburn Hospital, Carntyne, was raised by Paul Martin, Labour MSP for Provan.
He said there had been a lack of progress in new facilities and services being provided at the hospital, which helps people recover from strokes.
Last year Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon, refused to allow NHS Greater Glasgow And Clyde to close the hospital. Mr Martin asked Ms Sturgeon if she could confirm when progress would be made.
She said the health board was reviewing the matter over the summer in order to devise a plan to see new services at the hospital.
