Margaret Madden, 39, from the Maryhill area, was last seen around 9.45pm on Tuesday, May 8.
She was wearing a black leather-style jacket, dark top, and red jogging trousers with white stripes down the legs.
She has never gone missing before and efforts by police and her family to trace her have been unsuccessful.
Margaret has been described as white, 5'4" with dark, shoulder-length hair worn in a centre-parted bob.
She has a heavy build and a ruddy complexion.
Police are also urging Margaret to contact her family or the police.
Inspector Kenny Darroch from Maryhill Police Office said: "We know Margaret was last seen outside the Hamish Allan Centre in Centre Street, Glasgow, around 9.45am on May 8.
"Margaret is originally from, and is known to frequent, the Maryhill area and she also has friends in the Springburn area.
"Officers are checking CCTV and making extensive inquiries to trace Margaret and I would ask anyone who knows where Margaret might be or has any information on where she has been for the past few days to contact us.
"Finally, I would ask Margaret to contact either police or her family as she is not in any trouble. We and her family just want to know she is safe and well."
Anyone with any information should contact Maryhill Police Office on 0141 532 3700.
