Ibrox legend Sandy out of intensive care

RANGERS legend Sandy Jardine is out of intensive care.

And he immediately thanked fans for their support as he battles liver cancer.

After two weeks in hospital, he today said he wanted to convey just how much the best wishes of Rangers fans, staff and the Scottish football community has meant to him.

Sandy, 63, said: "I would like to pass on my thanks to everyone who has contacted my family to pass on their support."
