IMPROVING wages must be a priority for government according to the Scottish Greens.
Patrick Harvie, Scottish Green MSP for Glasgow, wants a £10 minimum wage by the end of the next parliament and more jobs in medicine, engineering and food production.
He said: "Westminster parties are obsessed with how quickly to reduce the deficit yet reluctant to look at achieving this by cutting the billions spent on weapons of mass destruction.
"The real issues in our economy are around how we lift people's wages and improve productivity through skills and access to good public services."
