A three-month-old baby girl has been found dead on a bus in east London.
The infant was found unresponsive on a bus in Stratford just after 10.20am yesterday morning.
Police have arrested a 27-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
The woman was arrested at an east London hospital, were the baby was pronounced dead.
The man was arrested at an address in East London later that day.
The child is yet to be identified and a post-mortem is due to take place at St Thomas' Hospital tomorrow.
Scotland Yard detectives are appealing for anyone with more information.
DCI Gary Holmes, from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "The death of any child is tragic and we would appeal for anyone with information to please come forward as soon as possible to help with our enquiries."
