A page on the White House's website charting the history of the civil rights movement in America has been deleted – hours after Donald Trump's inauguration as US President.
It appeared to have been replaced by a page entitled, Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community, which describes a 'dangerous anti-police' atmosphere in the country and discusses a 'tide of lawlessness associated with illegal immigration.'
This is what happens when you put in LGBT report into the department of labour website
His predecessor, Barack Obama's election as the first African American President had been viewed as a significant achievement for the civil rights community.
Pages about climate change and LGBT issues also disappeared from the White House site after the ceremony.
Mr Trump had been critical of all of these issues during the election campaign.
