A second teenager has been arrested in connection with the death of a father following a disturbance near a pub in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Former junior footballer Shaun Woodburn, 30, was found with serious injuries in Great Junction Street in the Leith area of Edinburgh at about 2am on January 1.
He was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary but died later that day.
A 16-year-old boy appeared in court charged with murder shortly after the incident.
Police Scotland announced on Thursday that a second male, aged 17, has now been arrested.
He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
Detective Inspector Stuart Alexander, of Police Scotland's major investigation team, said: "We are committed to pursuing every possible line of inquiry as part of our ongoing investigation into Shaun's death and our condolences remain with his family and friends."
Mr Woodburn has been described by his family as a "selfless, kind and loving" man.
