More than 40 firefighters are tackling a large blaze involving hazardous material at a warehouse in West Lothian.
Nearby properties have been evacuated and roads closed while emergency services deal with the incident at Houston industrial estate in Livingston.
Six appliances were sent to the scene when the alarm was raised at 2.14pm on Friday.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Specialist chemical support units are also in attendance and crews wearing breathing apparatus are using high-powered hoses to tackle the flames."
Police said they are supporting the fire service.
A police spokesman said: "A number of nearby premises have been evacuated and road closures are in place.
"The public are advised to avoid the area and thanked for their patience and co-operation with emergency services at this time."
