The intended victim of a bungled mafia-style hit was unknowingly being used to launder criminal cash, a court has been told.
Two heroin addicts brought in to murder a Cardiff family man allegedly stabbed schoolboy Aamir Siddiqi, 17, to death by mistake.
Intended target Mohammed Tanhai, who owed £50,000 to a local businessman, was by then already living in fear of his life.
Ben Hope, 39 and Jason Richards, 38, both of Cardiff, are on trial at Swansea Crown Court charged with murder. They deny all charges.
