More than 300 brave swimmers from across the UK raised more than £30,000 for a cancer charity when they joined this year's 'Dip wi a Nip' in the Firth Of Clyde.
Among them was Bill McNiff, 83, of Kirkintilloch, who was the oldest participant at Prestwick Beach, Ayrshire.
Some swimmers took to the water in fancy dress, including Elvis lookalikes, pirates, Santas, clowns, smurfs and Superman.
