EX-Rangers star Sandy Jardine has told how his family were told he might not live through his treatment for liver cancer.
Jardine, who is part of the backroom staff at the Ibrox club, had a large section of his liver cut away during treatment.
Doctors told his family he might not make it after he picked up an infection.
He said: "By far, cancer is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. They called my family in one Friday saying I might not make it but I was lucky enough to get through that."
