ALMOST 50 workers have lost their jobs and another 42 are at risk after a Glasgow-based manufacturer and a construction subsidiary ran up undisclosed debts.
Administrators have been appointed to try to find buyers for construction, repair and maintenance firm William Crawford & Son (Contractors), along with parent company J&T Blacksmiths, which specialises in metal fencing and steel staircase fabrication.
Both firms operate from neighbouring factories, offices and depots in Hillington Industrial Estate.
