PAISLEY has been chosen as the first location in Scotland to host a major cycling event.
The Renfrewshire town has been picked by organisers to stage next year's British Cycling Youth National Circuit Race Championsnhips.
Craig Burn, chief executive of Scottish Cycling, says he is thrilled, and added: "I have no doubt that world class events taking place in Scotland will aid the development of cycling in this country by providing inspiration to our current riders."
