EVENING Times para-sports columnist Julie McElroy will take part in a ceremony for pupils in the west of Glasgow.
The disability campaigner will hand out awards and speak to young people at Knightswood Secondary as part of the Saltire Awards Ceremony.
The event marks the efforts of young people for their volunteering commitments over the academic session.
It is the second year of the awards which last year saw more than 180 pupils recognised for their volunteering.
This year's event takes place on Friday, April 25.
