Kasabian have topped the nomination list for this year's NME Awards as they battle for eight prizes.
Other acts with multiple places on the shortlists include Royal Blood and Jamie T who are in the running for seven awards.
Kasabian are among the stars who will compete for the best British band trophy along with Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Chvrches, Royal Blood and The Libertines
