FREE wi-fi is now available in Kelvingrove Art Gallery allowing people to access the web while enjoying one of Europe's great art collections.
To celebrate, the museum has launched a free global treasure hunt app which can be downloaded to any mobile device.
There are three tours to choose from - adult, child or pre-school.
Each one encourages the public to explore the many treasures on show in the museum by following clues to collect bronze, silver or gold tokens which can be traded for a prize in the museum shop.
Glasgow Life chairman Archie Graham said: "Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum has always been about introducing new audiences to the treasures of Glasgow's collections. Providing free wi-fi allows visitors to keep up to date with world events as they enjoy this world-class attraction.
"The treasure hunt app allows us to showcase the collection in a fun way and encourages visitors to explore one of Scotland's most popular attractions, seeking out treasures they might otherwise not have taken in."
A virtual tour and an audio guide can also be downloaded allowing everyone to enjoy the museum.
