JUSTICE Secretary Kenny MacAskill paid a visit to cheer on Possilpark's first Highland Games.
Caber tossing, wellie throwing and tug of war were among the traditional sports at the event.
Mr MacAskill said: "The curtain may have come down on the Commonwealth Games but the people of Possil are making sure the sporting activity keeps going."
