GLASGOW today agreed its £2.3billion budget for the year from April – and the city is to spend more money cracking down on people who drop litter or fail to clean up after their dog.
Another 21 new enforcement officers will be appointed to tackle the problem of litter and dog fouling at a cost of £710,000. That will bring the total number of staff dealing with the problems to 54.
