Alex Salmond has faced further questions on Scotland's currency amid Labour claims he is steering the country to a financial crisis.
Johann Lamont continued to press the currency point at First Minister's Questions, following the statement by Bank of England Governor Mark Carney that he is making contingency plans in the event of an independent Scotland.
Mr Salmond welcomed Mr Carney's comments, insisting they were designed to counter the "instability" caused by the unionist parties' rejection of his plan to keep the pound, with the backing of the Bank, in an independent Scotland.
