A BAND made up of former New College Lanarkshire students is in the spotlight after reaching the semi-finals of a top music competition.

All She Knows appeared in the regional semi-finals for the contemporary category of The Big Music Project competition in November.

They are now waiting to hear if they will be one of the15 bands who will make it through to the London finals at the O2 Arena.

Four of the band members, Ross MacAndrew, Adam MacEachran, George Cowie and Ting Tang, studied on the Music, Rock and Pop course together at the College's Motherwell Campus. They joined with lead singer, Seb Lim-Seet, from Glasgow, to form All She Knows in 2012.

The band, who boast a mixture of synth pop and rock genres with a modern 80s twist, submitted some of their songs to the expert judging people at The Big Music Project - and impressed them so much that they were invited to perform at the regional semi-finals.

Ting Tang, keyboard player in All She Knows, said: "To make it to the semi-finals of such a prestigious music competition is a great achievement for us as new musicians.
