Lap dance club ban is rejected

A Glasgow MSP’s bid to allow councils to ban lap dancing clubs has failed, after it was rejected in the Scottish Parliament.

SNP MSP, Sandra White, a long time campaigner on the issue was unable to get her plan, which would give councils greater powers to refuse applications, into the Criminal Justice and Licensing Bill which was passed yesterday.
