GYM members will be offered free health MOT's before they start exercising at a Glasgow leisure club.
Private healthcare group Nuffield has acquired the gym chain Greens Health and Fitness, which owns a number of premises across Scotland including outlets in Glasgow, Giffnock and East Kilbride.
The MOT will offer blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, weight and aerobic fitness tests.
The Finnieston Street gym will also be refurbished later this year to offer additional services, including physiotherapy and healthy eating advice.
Gym manager Jo Parsons said: "We have been innundated with members booking in for their assessment.
"It can identify individuals who may need to see their GP before they exercise, or who may need specific exercise advice.
"You will be retested after 3 months to monitor your progress."
