DOZENS of young footballers donned their team colours for a sponsored walk to support their teammate.
Lee Jamieson, 11, was diagnosed with leukemia in November and is being treated in Yorkhill Hospital.
More than 100 players from East Kilbride Caledonian Thistle turned out to raise money for the hospital and show their support for Lee and his family.
Led by Lee's coach Scott Livingston, 36, youngsters aged five to 11 stormed round James Hamilton Heritage Park in East Kilbride in a bid to raise around £2000.
Lee plays for the 2002 Reds team at the football club and has been coached by Scott since he was five.
Scott said: "We organised the walk to support Lee and his family and as a thanks for Yorkhill for all the work they are doing."
As reported in the Evening Times last month, Lee's school pals at Murray Primary School also raised funds for Yorkhill and supported Lee by shaving their heads.
