A 22-YEAR-OLD man was due in court today in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow on Hogmanay.
Ryan Sherry, 21, was found seriously injured in Petershill Road, Springburn, at about 10.30pm on Monday December 31.
He was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary, where he died.
Emergency services were called after reports that a man had been injured.
Officers carried out door-to-door inquiries in Springburn and gathered CCTV footage from the area.
Strathclyde Police confirmed a 22-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
He was expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
