DRUGS – believed to be cannabis – worth around £318,000 have been seized by police from a house in South Lanarkshire.
Strathclyde Police said a 52-year-old man has been arrested and has been detained in custody in connection with the find at a property in New Street, Stonehouse, at around 8.30pm on Friday.
The man is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court later today.
Police said a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
