A MAN is due to stand trial this year for streaking on the pitch at a rugby match during the Commonwealth Games.
James Hendry, 20, is accused of breaching the peace by running on to the field at Ibrox stadium during half time at the rugby game while only wearing underwear.
It is alleged he ran around the field and attempted to "evade members of staff there" and threw himself to the ground.
Hendry, from Clarkston, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he pleaded not guilty. A trial was set for March.
William Aitken, 21, from Girvan, Ayrshire, admitted running on to the pitch during the match.
Procurator fiscal depute Clare Macaulay told the court he ran on during the second half of the game on July 26 when Samoa were playing Wales.
Sheriff Ian Miller ordered him to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work, reduced from 75 hours.
Two other men, Rhys Jack, 20, from Edinburgh, and Murray Kemp, 19, from Glasgow, are to stand trial after denying running on to the pitch.
