A man was taken to hospital after suffering burns in a fire in his kitchen.
Fire crews went to the scene in Scott Road, Irvine, North Ayrshire, after the alarm was raised on Monday.
A man who came to tell them he was the occupant was found to have suffered burns.
He was treated at the scene and later taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock.
