A 26-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court in connection with the death of Stephen McGowan, 23, of Greenock.
McGowan, a father of two, died in a close in the town's Tobago Street on July 27.
An 18-year-old man was previously arrested over the death and appeared in court last week.
The 26-year-old appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court.
A full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
