Man in court over fire

A MAN is due to appear in court today in connection with a fire in a Glasgow pub.

The Hazelwood Bar, on Nitshill Road, sustained "substantial damage" in the fire, which happened at around 2.30am on Saturday.

Police Scotland said a 58-year-old man has been arrested and is currently detained in police custody in connection with the incident.

He is expected to ­­aappear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.

Police had previously appealed for information in connection with the incident.
